Data from the Shandong Provincial Chamber of Commerce show that the export value of vegetables and related manufactured goods from Shandong to Japan reached 6.69 billion yuan [1.06 billion USD] in 2017, which is an increase of 11.7% in comparison with 2016. Cabbage export value reached 25.57 million yuan [4.04 million USD], which is an increase of 45% in comparison with 2016. The export value of vegetables and related manufactured goods from Shandong to Japan reached 620 million yuan [98 million USD] in January this year. Cabbage exports reached a value of 8.65 million yuan [1.37 million USD], which is an increase of 734%.
