The snack bars are marketed under the name Purafruta and are initially offered in four varieties. In addition to the individual mango, baby banana and pineapple flavors, there is a so-called fruit mix, which consists of 25 percent mango, baby bananas, pineapple and physalis. The bars are made from pure fruit and contain no flavour enhancers, no genetic engineering, no trans fat or emulsifiers, no added sugar, no additives.
In addition to this, these products are completely vegan, gluten-free and they are produced and certified kosher. To cover the entire European market, the information on the product packaging is presented in German, English and French. “The cave paintings on the packaging were found in the Andes and show the original flora there. We believe that this fits very well with the European market,” says Mrs Hinrichs.

Fruit Group AG is a sister company of the Swiss company Frutco AG and operates online business Hibashop, where the PuraFruta products will be sold. Headquartered in the Colombian capital, Bogota, Prime Foods has been involved in the production and marketing of nutritious and all-natural fruit products for more than 15 years. The organization derives its raw materials only from local cultivation and is not only committed to technical support of and advice for the small farmers, but also to their local village communities. A significant part of the turnover goes directly back to the small farmers and their families.
