Ivory Coast: Ten days to go until mango harvest

Ivorian mango producers are almost at the point when they can start picking. Jean-Jacques Saba, from the Ivorian import-export business SIMEXP: "We will start harvesting the Amélie variety on the 26th of March." 


The Amélie variety is almost ready to be harvested

SIMEXP mainly exports pineapples, mangoes and coconuts. Apart from the Amélie variety, SIMEXP also offers the Kent and Keith varieties. "The harvest of the Kent variety starts between 10 and 15 April; we will start harvesting the Keith variety from 23 May."
