Poland: Ewa-Bis launches “wrap and go” healthy snacks

The company Ewa-Bis, a distributor of fruits and vegetables, is expanding its range. "We are launching a line with three kinds of healthy snacks made from fruits and vegetables: fresh, dried and frozen," says Anna Litwin, representative of Ewa-Bis.

"We will start distribution in one of Poland's retail chains, and we are also in talks with Auchan in Hungary. Soon we may also start collaborating with a large discount chain," explains Anna Litwin.

She emphasises that Ewa-Bis is planning to strongly promote its brand. "In the era of pro-health trends, our products should enjoy popularity, especially since they do not have added sugar or other improvers; they are natural," adds Anna Litwin.

The range of fresh products from Ewa-Bis includes blueberries, cherry tomatoes, grapes and other seasonal fruits and vegetables.

Dried products include apples, blueberries, cherries, mangoes, tomatoes, beets, kale, etc.

The frozen product range includes raspberries, blueberries, mangoes and others. For frozen snacks, they will also add chocolate and vanilla sauce as a great, healthy alternative to ice cream.

"The concept of healthy snacks is becoming more and more popular in the world. Consumers have started paying more attention to the compactness of packaging and labels. We exhibited our products at the fairs in Berlin, Dubai and also in Japan and they proved to be a hit. We receive a lot of enquiries from these countries. Our current customers from all over Europe are also very interested in this concept," says Anna Litwin.
