Opening of new commercial premises for Vitacress Real

With the third move in five years time, Vitacress Real shows they’re not planning to stop growing anytime soon. Last Saturday, the company opened the doors of their new commercial premises. Since 2013, Vitacress Real has been active in the world of fresh herbs. They’re in control of the entire supply chain, from production to packaging and delivery.

It all started in 2013, with one production line, seven workers and one employee in an office the size of a broom closet. The company has now grown to more than 80 employees in production and 20 in the office. As an herb specialist within Europe, they make sure consumers can enjoy flavourful food with natural seasoning. Their mission is: “Bringing Real Taste to Life.” The company is doing well, considering the increase in the number of employees and turnover in recent years.

Herbal lunch

Ralph Coenen, managing director of Vitacress Real: “We want to be the Cool Blue of the fresh produce sector. A hard-working team full of ambitions that is firmly grounded and enjoys a bit of fun. We like doing things differently from our colleagues in the fresh produce sector. This is clearly emphasised in our new commercial premises. We have swings in the entrance hall, a table tennis table, a foosball table and our own ‘Greenhouse Café’ that we developed ourselves, we’re constantly looking for new ways to work so that our employees also proudly propagate one of our four core values: ‘We Smile.’”
