The new building plans are being registered this week, with the Saarlander Ministry and according to Winzent the concept has 'no difficulties'. Although he is well-versed in the field of renewable energies due to his long career and is primarily a sponsor of this project, Winzent is convinced that the sales market for regional products is there. “The demand for regional products such as sausage and cheese is huge, here in the Saarland as well. This makes the construction of a greenhouse a logical step, so that in the future we can also offer vegetables from our own soil.”
End of 2019
The idea is to use the property in question to create a large-scale commercial estate and to take full advantage of the cheap energy of the nearby thermal power plant. If Winzent receives the planning permits, the new building should be completed by the end of 2019.
