The north-west of Xinjiang, large parts of Gansu, the east and south of Qinghai, the north-east of Chuanxi plateau, the east of Tibet, and the east of Liaoning all suffered from small to medium snowfall and sleet yesterday.
Changdu and Naqu in Tibet suffered from heavy snowfall and blizzards (5.2- 10.1 mm). The temperature difference between five o'clock today and the same time yesterday was 4-8ƒ in the east and south of Qinghai, the mid-east of Tibet, the north of Chuanxi plateau and the north-west of the Sichuan basin, the east of Guizhou, and the mid-south of Hunan. Locally the temperature dropped as much as 10-12 ƒ.
This morning there was light to medium haze in the mid-south of Hebei, the south of Shanxi, and the south-west of Henan. Locally there was severe haze. There was dense fog in the south-west of Chongqing, the east and south-west of Hubei, the center of Hunan, the center and south of Anhui, and the center of Zhejiang. Locally the visibility was less than 200 meters.
