Only two weeks ago the first shipment of Australian honey peaches reached Beijing directly, and already the Australian company Royal Fresh International Pty Ltd has prepared a cargo ship for the transport of the first shipment of plums. This shipment is expected to arrive in Shanghai harbor in early March.

Plums have recently been listed, together with apricots and wild peaches, as a category of fruit that is allowed to access China. Plums have a high sugar content and a flavor that is welcomed by all. It is also relatively well-suited for storage. The 2018 production season of plums will end in three or four weeks.
