L'Orto di Eleonora at Fruit Logistica

"In Berlin, guests will be able to taste our leading seasonal products - Camone tomatoes and Spinoso sardo artichokes. In addition, the entire artichoke and tomato range will also be on display," explained Salvatore Lotta, sales manager of OP Agricola Campidanese, when talking about attending Fruit Logistica 2018 (Hall 4.2 - Stand C03) to promote "L'Orto di Eleonora" products.

2017 was very positive with a turnover and volume growth of around 30%. "This was due to the fact that more and more clients are requesting our products and that our historic clients increased their orders."

"We are expecting to grow more in 2018. At the moment, we are already growing in terms of turnover and volume, although it is still way too early to talk about it. Even though prices dropped in January due to the mild weather, we are still adding new clients and strengthening our relationship with existing ones."

L'Orto di Eleonora will attend the fair in Berlin together with Unaproa and La Linea Verde group. Artichokes sold under the Passioni Gourmet brand with their new black packaging will be on display. A recipe created by some of the most renowned chefs in Sardinia is found at the bottom of each packet.

Salvatore and Marco Lotta, sales director and sales and logistics manager respectively, will welcome guests.

"The biggest challenge for Italian businesses is proving to be reliable suppliers when it comes to products, deliveries and certifications. There is a lot of prejudice, we are considered imprecise and unreliable and it's just not true."

"L'Orto di Eleonora" was awarded a star for Camone tomatoes and Passioni Gourmet artichokes at the Bellavita event in Amsterdam. Op Agricola Campidanese had already won a Bellavita award in July 2015 in London with its Majores melons and Gavina watermelons.
