Recall in Austria:

Broken glass in Rewe ‘Yes! Naturally’ tomato products

On 26.01.2018, REWE International AG has recalled the entire inventory from the ‘Yes! Naturally’ tomato products in glass containers. The reason for the recall is a possible presence of glass fragments in the products.

‘Yes! Naturally’ is a trademark of the Austrian food company Rewe International. It is not to be confused with the German Rewe trademark ‘Yes!’



Affected are the following tomato products in glass containers:

‘Yes! Naturally’ Passata 690g
‘Yes! Naturally’ Polpa 690g
‘Yes! Naturally’ SUGO Basilco 530g
‘Yes! Naturally’ SUGO Toscana 330g
‘Yes! Naturally’ SUGO Arrabbiata 330g
‘Yes! Naturally’ POLPA Rustica 410g
‘Yes! Naturally’ Pomodori in pezzi 410g
‘Yes! Naturally’ Pomodori Pelati 530g
‘Yes! Naturally’ Passata Basilico 410g
‘Yes! Naturally’ Sugo Basilico 330g


Due to possible contamination by glass fragments it is not recommended to consume these products! Customers who have already purchased the affected tomato products in a glass container can now return them without a receipt.
