Syria: 90 tonnes of Lattakia-grown citrus fruits gifted to people in need in Sweida

The branch of the Syrian Foundation for Trade in Sweida has been distributing a large volume of citrus fruits, offered as a gift by the Lattakia governorate to the people of the province.

The Director of the Foundation Branch, Engineer Hiam Al Qatami, said in a statement to SANA that nine trucks arrived from the province of Lattakia loaded with about 90 tonnes of citrus fruits and that the fruit has been distributed free of charge to the families of martyrs and people in need, noting that another shipment will arrive in the coming days.

The free distribution of citrus fruits is part of a national campaign targeting various Syrian governorates.
