The 2018 great e-commerce war is beginning with an invasion of new participants from Taiwan. On January 3, Hema announced that they are going to open 30 new stores in Beijing. The plan includes such locations as Xizhimen, Guang'anmen and Shuangjing.
When all of the stores are open, they'll cover all the districts and will be able to deliver the products everywhere within 30 minutes. The first of these 30 stores is going to be the Hema Yizhuang store, which is located on the Beijing Urban and Rural Century Square, less than 3 km from newly-opened JD.com's supermarket "7FRESH".
