More than 28,000 euros in deposits collected

7,500 fruit and vegetable crates stolen

Three employees of a Bornheim-based company have to go to court for the theft of nearly 7,500 fruit and vegetable crates. The employees made the returnable green packaging disappear during their shift. Over time the stolen containers were sold to other greengrocers, in order to collect the deposits of 3.86 euros a piece. The estimated damages amount to 28,162 euros in total.
