The General Director of Anecoop Polska, Darek Wysocki, highlighted the strong growth in the volume of Spanish fruit and vegetable products marketed in this country. "We are happy with the results obtained in recent campaigns, and our forecasts for this year are optimistic. Throughout the last decade, we have been increasing our activity and our staff, which currently consists of 80 people, counting both office and warehouse staff."
Anecoop's strategic vision motivated it to found the subsidiary Agricomerz, the old name for Anecoop Polska, in 1998. It was planned together with the subsidiaries in Prague, Slovakia and Russia in order to capitalise on Eastern Europe's promising markets.
Currently, with the expansion of this platform, which is motivated by the potential that the Polish market has for Spanish products, especially for citrus fruits, fruits and vegetables, Anecoop is reinforcing its international marketing strategy.
The new warehouse, intended for shipment handling, has a document office and a room for drivers. It features the WMS management system for warehouses, which entails a qualitative leap in the management of warehouse information and its connection with Grupo Anecoop's commercial system. It has modern loading and unloading, storage and cold storage facilities.
According to the President of Anecoop, Alejandro Monzón, "Poland is a market that is still growing, with a strong potential and 40 million inhabitants. Thanks to the new infrastructure that we are inaugurating today, we will have an even greater capacity to serve our cooperatives and partner companies, as well as our clients."
