China: Lingtai apples sold for first time in Nepal

November 9th marked the first time apples grown in Lintgai, China were exported to distant Nepal.

Lingtai county's Shuangmei fruit company successfully transported 18 tons of Lingtai apples across Gansu, through the inspection and quarantine of the department for inspection and quarantine, and onto the international market.

This is the first time that a business organisation from China has transported agricultural products from the county across national borders to enter the international market. It is also an expansion of the apple sales market, and a push for the healthy development of the apple industry as a whole.
