Because of the ginger oversupply in October, it became possible to buy good-quality ginger for a relatively low price. As a result, the price of old ginger dropped even lower. Considering the big amount of new ginger on the market, it is expected that ginger prices will continue to decrease until New Year's Day. Close to the Spring Festival, market demand has a tendency to increase and ginger prices may go higher again.
