US: Door to Door Organics eyes 100% growth in 2018
Colorado’s subscription-based company Door to Door Organics is preparing to launch a new delivery test in which it will partner with United Parcel Service (UPS) to make deliveries from its four warehouses around the country. US: Costco reports 10% sales increase in October
US retailer Costco Wholesale Corporation has reported net sales of $10.02bln for the month of October, representing an increase of 10.1% compared to the same period in 2016. US: Sprouts Q3 shines
Sprouts Farmers Market has enjoyed impressive growth during quarter three of fiscal 2017. Net sales for Q3, which ended Oct. 1, were $1.2bln, a 16% increase compared to the same period in 2016. Spain: Coviran introduces loyalty programme in Portugal

Spanish cooperative Coviran has implemented its Clube Familia customer loyalty programme in six of its supermarkets in Northern Portugal. Coviran says that the programme will include, among other things, launching promotions with leading brands, multi-channel interaction with consumers, and specific initiatives for partners. Italy’s Sogegross to invest €100mln by 2020
Italian retailer Sogegross is investing €100mln in its network over the next three years, with €30mln earmarked for the remodelling of existing stores. Another €30mln will be used to build a storage unit for fresh products in Genoa, while the rest will be allocated for new openings and acquisitions. The company's goal is to exceed €1bln in turnover by 2020, with growth expected in all distribution channels, including Basko supermarkets (€390mln), Sogegross Cash & Carry (€260mln), Ekom discount (€310mln), and Doro supermarkets and franchise stores (€95mln).
