Recently, the Wenjindu Customs discovered an empty transport used for the smuggling of yellow dragon fruits to the United States. Officers found 50 boxes worth over 100,000 yuan. This is the first case of fruit smuggling in recent years. On October 18, around 5 p.m., the truck that was declared to be empty tried to leave the port. Customs officers checked it with X-rays and discovered the illegal cargo. The fruits were hidden among empty boxes. 50 boxes contained 750 kg of yellow dragon fruits. According to preliminary estimates, the value of the fruits would be over 100,000 yuan.
