New machines for green asparagus harvesting

Machines are essential to harvest green asparagus and Bagioni has recently expanded its electric-drive machine range.

"The new range includes 7 different models with different power levels and speeds and equipped with new electronic technologies that reduce consumption and extend battery life. All this to reduce amortisation," explains owner Aurenzo Bagioni.

Frames are divided into two categories - one for harvesting on open fields and one for harvesting on fields with mulching films. They are made up of cold-formed tubing with no welding for an increased elasticity and reduced weight. The electric systems are drawn and manufactured in the company lab and machines are assembled in series.

The range was widened to supply clients with the ideal machine for their needs. There is also a dedicated website - www.asparagus.it - where maintenance and repair information can be found in 5 languages.

"Our company has been producing this type of machines since 1988 and patents have been issued - a guarantee of the fact our machines are truly reliable, they are still working after 25 years."

Bagioni will attend the Karlsruher fair (Germany) in 22nd-23rd November 2017.
