On October 13th, the sixth edition of the World Kiwi Convention opened in Mei County, Shaanxi province. The convention, which this year was titled 'Let the whole world enjoy the taste of kiwis', aims at growing the industry for kiwi fruits. Experts, technical staff and visiting merchants from within the kiwi fruit industry spheres, both from within and outside of China, all assembled in Mei, "the Chinese kiwi county". They jointly discussed programs to develop the kiwi producing industry and created a new future for the industry together.
The sixth edition of the World Kiwi Convention in Shaanxi province will take place between October 13th and 15th. During the convention seminars on kiwi fruit and a first annual meeting of Chinese kiwi fruit traders and exporters, agricultural products exhibition, a great fruit dish-cooking contest and many other activities.
