As part of an ongoing campaign this summer in Canada to provide citrus to Canadians, Citrus From Chile supported the Niagara International Marathon.
It is one of only a few marathons that starts in one country and finishes in another. The runners begin the marathon in Buffalo, N.Y. and cross the Peace Bridge into Canada and follow the Niagara Parkway to the brink of the Horseshoe Falls near Table Rock.
During the event Citrus from Chile gave out mandarins to over 4,600 runners. They also sponsored the main Contest Give-a-way of 2 entries to the Marathon along with Hotel Stay and a Niagara Falls experience VIP dinner.
"Our Social Media contest reached runners globally who participated in answering questions about the Reverse Growing Season of Chile in comparison to Canada. Athletes from around the world visited the expo partaking in our Instagram Water Infuser Bottle Promotion," the company said in a release.
Participants and family members posted their favourite picture of Citrus from Chile on Instagram and received an Infuser Citrus from Chile Water Bottle.
