Frutas Condiso joins Anecoop

Frutas Condiso currently exports to the EU, Eastern European countries and to demanding markets such as the US and the UK. It has a production volume of about 200 tonnes per day, facilities totalling 7,000 m2 and five cold-heat chambers with a capacity for 2,000 tonnes.

According to the manager of Frutas Condiso, Juan Antonio Gómez, "the move to join Anecoop, with which we have been collaborating for a long time, responds to our future prospects and will allow our company to gain more presence in the international market and differentiate ourselves from our competitors."

The firm has a code of good business practices in food procurement and certifications such as Global Gap, BRC, IFS and Ailimpo's. Its warehouses prioritise the reduction of energy consumption and environmental sustainability. Recently, in June 2017, it expanded its facilities in order to grow and be able to offer a better customer service. With the new warehouses, equipped with the most modern technology for the sorting and selection of fruit and efficient refrigeration systems, Frutas Condiso has a capacity of 7,600 cubic metres, which makes it possible for all marketable goods to remain always at the right temperature for a perfect preservation.

Anecoop's President, Alejandro Monzón, also commented on the joining of Frutas Condiso as Anecoop's partner. "We offer them the strength of the integration of the supply and the possibility to become even more competitive and able to tackle new commercial and research projects. Today, Frutas Condiso and Anecoop are already part of the same project."
