The technical visit, organised in partnership with the businesses mentioned above, was an occasion to present the company and display typical Puglia hospitality. A vineyard lunch was the perfect occasion to make guests discover typical local products accompanied by music and activities. The Borracci family welcomed the delegation and created a festive atmosphere.

Nicola Borracci was the perfect host together with wife Marisa Carbonara and sons Giuseppe and Stefano.

After lunch, the entire delegation moved on to a showroom where Serroplast products are on display and where it is possible to see how they are employed. Here, Nicola, Stefano and Giuseppe Borracci illustrated company data and the journey that led Serroplast to becoming renowned all over the world.

Thanks to the exclusive knowhow acquired over forty years, the company has managed to conquer a significant market share and stand out against direct competitors.

Since 1999, Serroplast has been producing a wide range of solutions: shading nets, anti-hail nets, anti-wind nets, pool covering nets, anti-insect nets, grape and cherry nets, heavy breathable nets as well as a wide range of accessories for vineyard preparation.

Below: Giuseppe Borracci talks about the company and its partnerships.

Serroplast covers approximately 70,000 sq metres and evolved and specialised over time thanks to continuous technological research.

"Our nets and films have performed very well both in countries with a tropical climate (Kenya, Middle East, Sri Lanka and South America) and in those with a more rigid climate (northern Europe) where hail usually damages crops irreparably."

"We can now meets our clients' specific needs through a range of specific customised solutions developed by our highly-skilled technicians, who can find unique ways to achieve the results needed."

"Our modus operandi is based on our growth and the brilliant results we achieve every day and aims at improving the quality of the products and services offered. Day after day, we strive to make our products unique as, before being film producers and traders, we are vine growers, so we know nature."

Serroplast is a point of reference for its sector on an international level but, what is even more striking, are the stories from a time before the company was even set up. Nicola, for example, recalls that when he was sixteen he used to take the train to go to work in Foggia. "We woke up early to go to work and life was tough, but I always tried to do my best and look ahead."
