Green Giant Fresh has added two industry vets to their team.
Nancy Bryner of Richmond, Virginia, joined the sales team as the Southeast Regional Sales Manager/ Foodservice Manager and will manage the southeast sales for the industry giant. Her 22+ years sales experience, most recently at Misionero in Gonzales, California, in developing key markets in both retail and foodservice have her well-suited to take on her new role. Nancy has a proven track record and relationships with retailers nationwide that will serve the Green Giant Fresh team well in continually bringing their new innovations to the marketplace.
“Nancy is highly regarded by customers and brings considerable experience to our team, joining our nationwide outside sales program,” said Merritt Bruce, vice president sales for Green Giant Fresh. “She will also bring increased focus to the foodservice segment of our operation, and we’re thrilled to have her on board,” Bruce added. Nancy graduated from Colorado College with a BA in Political Science.

Sean Frisby, formerly of Pismo Beach, California, relocated to Salinas after accepting the newly created position of Director of Category Management & Trade Marketing. With his past agency and CPG experience, along with a retail background at H-E-B, Sean moved into produce about a decade ago working for Nature Sweet in San Antonio, Texas. Serving as Director of Product Management most recently with Apio in southern California, Sean’s experience delivering strategic brand marketing expertise is a great fit for this forward-thinking and innovative company.
“Sean’s extensive background and experience on both the client and retailer side enhance our team, and provide us with the opportunity to better execute our Category Management program as a resource and unique benefit for our customers,” said Vice President Marketing, Jennifer Dixon.
Graduating from Cal Poly with an Ag Business/Marketing degree, Sean went on to receive his MBA from Pepperdine University.
