STI Germany gets re-certified with the IFS Logistics Standard

Logistics provider STI GmbH, a subsidiary of STI Freight Management, has successfully achieved IFS Logistics 2.1 (International Featured Standard) certification once again.

The “higher level” result from last year was confirmed during a re-audit. “We have further optimised our processes and will transfer the know-how we have gained in food safety and hygiene to all of our European locations.”, says Kai Schüttke, Managing Director at STI Freight Management.

The IFS Logistics quality standard applies to transport, storage, loading and unloading as well as the distribution of food and non-food products. The certificate provides transparency, trust and comparability between logistics providers, retail and industry.

IFS Logistics is valid for one year and is only awarded for a further year after a successfully completed monitoring audit. “We are more than happy to rise to the challenge of achieving the strict conditions of the standard. Because this shows that our commitment to very high quality is part of the culture at STI and is continuously furthered by every member of the entire organisation,” according to Schüttke.
