Cool Fresh gets first fruit imports of the season from Turkey
Father/son duo Osman and Resat Aritan of Cool Fresh International have started the new season of imports from Turkey.
Osman says that the first loadings of Sultana grapes, Santa Maria pears, Bursa peaches and nectarines and Bursa black figs have arrived at their warehouse in Ridderkerk.
"After the relative quiet of the European summer holidays, it is great to be back on track with daily arrivals of a solid basket of fruit."
"We are extremely excited by the prospects which the season holds, especially in terms of volumes and quality. Because of the fact that our production stretches over various farms, we can supply these products over a fairly extended period of time."
Osman and Resat manage the import, marketing and logistics operations of all Turkish imports on behalf of Cool Fresh International. In addition to the summer fruit, the collaboration with Turkish citrus producers enables the company to supply products across all citrus ‘families’.
Osman and Resat have been partnered with Cool Fresh since 2012, and play an important role in the company’s global strategy. Resat says he fully supports the strategic objective which focuses on creating a balance between supply and demand.
"By setting high quality standards, and then by shipping only those products that meet these standards to our sales partners worldwide, we are able to effectively spread market risks and ensure a satisfactory return to our production partners."
The campaign is supported by a special promotion which was designed in-house, and which places the spotlight squarely on the taste of Turkish Fruit.
