Hip song about broccoli

Promoting vegetables by giving them their own beat and an energetic videoclip. It’s an idea of the band Rocket Surgeons from Denver, Colorado. They recently launched the Broccoli song, with an accompanying music video, through social media. “With this song, we want to make children enthusiastic about vegetables, instead of persuading them to eat vegetables because they’re good for you. Hopefully, this beat will get them excited about broccoli,” says one of the band members.

The idea of getting children enthusiastic about vegetables by making hip music has been around for a while. Two years ago, the initiators used Kickstarter to launch their Veggie Beats. Through this crowdfunding platform, the musicians wanted to collect money to produce the vegetable songs, but they unfortunately couldn’t get the financing. Charlie Feist, a brand that produces veggie backpacks, reignited their fire, and they made this song and videoclip about the ‘mini trees’ in collaboration and under their own management.

Verschuren Broccoli & De Aspergeschuur is enthusiastic, on their Facebook page they said this could be a possible number one hit.
