Australian fresh produce grower, marketer and distributor, Nutrano, has appointed senior Melbourne-based businessman Peter McGregor as an independent non-executive director.

McGregor (BCom, F Fin, MAICD) has over 25 years’ experience in a range of senior business roles across procurement, logistics, supply chain and finance.
A former partner at investment banking firm Goldman Sachs JBWere and former CFO of ASX-listed Asciano, McGregor is currently Chief Executive Officer of Think Holdings, a procurement and payments technology business.

Prior to joining Think Holdings, he was Managing Director and Head of Industrials, Food, Beverages and Agribusiness at Commonwealth Bank of Australia’s Institutional Banking Business.

McGregor currently serves on the board of the Brisbane Lions Australian Football Club, and is a former Chair of the Port of Geelong. He is a former director of Melbourne, Gold Coast and Darwin Airports and the ASX-listed Australian Infrastructure Fund.

He has previously served as a member of the Prime Minister’s Rail Projects Task Force and the Business Council of the National Gallery of Victoria.

Nutrano Chairman, Richard England, welcomed McGregor to the Nutrano team.

“Peter’s experience will be invaluable as we continue to consolidate and grow the Nutrano business,” Mr England said.
