Lidl Switzerland is launching an innovative and easy concept for meals - the Menu Box. "Kochbox" can be ordered online on www.lidl-menubox.ch . All the ingredients in the box can be used for three meals. The included recipes with detailed instructions for the preparation guarantee a tasty meal and a fun time cooking with family or friends.

The system is easy: Every week different recipes and fresh ingredients are delivered straight home or into the office. The Menu Box includes everything you need to cook the meal, other than a few basics, such as salt, pepper or oil. This includes fresh herbs or exotic spices. The recipe cards are a step-by-step instruction so the meals turn out great every time.

The Menu Box can be ordered for two or four persons. There's the "Original Box" for meatlovers, which includes only meat from Swiss production - except for a few selected specialties. For the "Vegi Box", regionality is important, too. Depending on the recipe, Swiss products make up for about 80% of the ingredients in the Menu Box.
In addition to that, the chefs and dieticians are creating the recipes with regards to seasonality and diversity and they keep within the guidelines of the Swiss Nutritional Agency (SGE). The weekly delivery service can be paused or cancelled any time and without a hassle.

The Menu Box is packed at the goods distribution center in Weinfelden by Lidl Switzerland. The Switzerland-wide shipping with the Swiss postal service is not only free for customers but also climate-neutral.
