The FreshView Smart Station will be one of the products on show as well as the EC 12 system.
"The FreshView Smart Station is a monitoring unit," explains Paul Gapes, General Manager at Pacific Data Systems. "It is not just for use in ripening rooms but also in storage spaces where people want try to get an idea of how much ethylene is being produced naturally by the produce. They can then decide if is it necessary to employ ethylene removal systems or other air purifying systems, such as the BioTurbo from Miatech."The technology is similar to email/SMS reporting and users can log into the webportal to check their cool/cold rooms. The Smart Station has the ability to email/SMS alarms to single or multiple recipients ensuring peace of mind for operators outside of normal operating hours.
