expoSE and expoDirekt trade fair:

Innovative methods and products for asparagus and berry production

The start of expoSE and expoDirekt are still a good three months away, but 318 companies have already confirmed that they will be participating in expoSE, a major European trade fair for asparagus and berry production – and expoDirekt – Germany’s largest trade fair for direct marketing in agriculture.

Of the companies that have registered, 13 per cent will be presenting their innovative products and services for the first time. The trade fair duo’s organiser, the Association of Southern German Asparagus and Strawberry Producers (Verband Süddeutscher Spargel- und Erdbeeranbauer e.V. – VSSE), is expecting more than 430 exhibitors from 14 countries and roughly 7,000 trade visitors from around the world at the Karlruhe Exhibition Centre over 22nd and 23rd November 2017.

Spread across more than 25,000m2, exhibitors at expoSE and expoDirekt will be showcasing innovations connected to asparagus and berry cultivation, and to direct marketing in the agricultural industry. expoSE will also provide a general overview of new varieties, because all the well-known European breeders will be there.

Three of the companies exhibiting at the trade fair duo for the first time are strawberry and raspberry plant breeder Viveros California from Spain, French company EBBJ, which will be unveiling a new drainage system, and the Constance-based Pollinature, which will be presenting a pollination service that uses mason bees.
