"We own about 8 acres of land that we use for an open-air pomegranate cultivation in Mengzi. We sell our high-quality pomegranates according to a traditional trade model: the main portion of our product is going to the local markets and only a small part will by sold through internet platforms. Such a combination of production and direct sales allows us to guarantee the quality on the one hand and to avoid an intermediary's service that will increase the price on the other hand."
