After a successful winter season, the KIKU summer athletes step into the spotlight. Free running athlete and Stuntman Andy Haug, Slack- and Highliner Lucky Huber, Aldo Valmassoi and Ale D’Emilia, as well as slalom canoeist and Olympic medalist Hannes Aigner are authentic ambassadors. They are part of several lifestyle events around the world and able to add a positive charge to the brand.
The second KIKU Sports Academy takes place in October this year: it is an experience and knowledge platform for athletes and managers. Following the slogan "Starting with experience and knowledge“, professionals in the field of sports, nutrition, motivation and rhetoric will lecture. Double World cup winner in Downhill alpine skiing Peter Fill talks about his career and the legendary ski coach Franz Gamper reports about his experiences with lots of athletes around the world, recently Norwegian Aksel Lund Svindal.
Currently the KIKU Photo Contest at IMS is running. In the category "mountain action“ photographers around the world are submitting pics of people involved in mountain sports: skiers descending steep slopes, paragliders and hang gliders looking for the adrenaline rush or slackliners trying to find their right anchor points on the peaks.
Following a standout first year at italian Reschenpass, the Suzuki Nine Knights Mountain bike comes back to South Tyrol with a fresh take on last year’s impressive course. MTB pros meet for the week-long supersession, running from the 4th to the 9th of September 2017.
KIKU Apples will be at the Public Contest on Saturday, 9th of September supporting guests and bikers with Fresh Apple Emotion: KIKU slush and apples.
