Slightly further to the west, on the same border with Kazakhstan, in the region of Orenburg, the wholesale market at Petrovsky was inspected. Here the inspection found a party of apples which, upon closer inspection, turned out to be from Poland. The papers were lacking for the party, but the damaged labels and the pallet pointed to a Polish origin for the 553.5 kilos of apples. As the import of these apples is forbidden, the party was mechanically destroyed.
