First chantarelles arrive from Belarus

"It feels like a celebration here today," says Corné Verboom of Funghi Funghi. "We receive the first chantarelles from Belarus today. Chantarelles come in all shapes and sizes and from many origins. The varieties from Belarus, Russia and Lithuania are of the highest quality and are always well sorted."

"Everyone always looks forward to this first. The season is slightly later this year due to the recent cold nights. But it's more than worth the wait," according to Corné. "We are proud to be able to receive them today and sell them to our customers. We supply in sortings of 0-2.5 cm and 2.5-5 cm."
