Compared to the last week, when it was 1.38 yuan per kilogram, the price dropped by 43.48%. There are two main reasons why chives prices are going down. Firstly, chives production cost is low and now it's the season of vegetables that grow in the open, so there are too many chives available on the market, which creates a situation where supply exceeds demand. Secondly, it was affected by other vegetables prices. Other vegetables are also in abundance and getting cheeper.
