China: Malaysian fruit will directly reach northern Chinese market

Recently, Hebei Xinfadi has welcomed a delegation from the Malaysia-China Chamber of Commerce, reaching a cooperation agreement between the two parties. Right now, Malaysian fruit cannot be transported directly from the south to the Hebei Xinfadi market. It is expected that in the second half of the year, Malaysian grapefruits and bananas will enter the market bit by bit. From next year's Spring Festival on, Malaysian fruit will brought in in large quantities. Several fruits, such as durians and mangosteen, will directly enter the Hebei Xinfadi market, by avoiding transfers on southern markets, such as Guangzhou and Jiaxing, reducing costs by 10% to 15%.
