China: The last export of Zhanjiang lychees for this season

The export of Zhanjiang lychees started on 11th of May, and now the export season has come to an end with the last order shipped on 29th of June. 

According to the statistics from the local Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, within these two months, Zhanjiang has exported 800 tons of lychees with a total worth of 1.7 million USD, increasing by 38% and 27% compared to those from last year. Zhanjiang lychees have become well-known in the overseas markets and so far have sold to the U.S., Canada and many countries in Southeastern Asia.
