If the weather stays as it is now, this year's waxberry quality will be better than last year.
The sales volume of waxberries from Yunnan and Fujian is now higher than last year, but the price is lower. When looking at the sales volume of waxberries from greenhouses in Zhejiang, the price is around 100-200yuan/kg, which is the same as last year. Many production sites have increased their production, and because of the continuous rainfall in Zhejiang, sales pressure has risen. The market is now more approving of high quality brands, so the middle and lower class produce will be under pressure.
