AHDB Hort and BCGA's to hold Carrot Variety Demonstration and Trade Exhibition
AHDB Hort and BCGA are collaborating to hold the 2017 Carrot Variety Demonstration and Trade Exhibition at Trotters Field, Alderton Road, Shottisham, Woodbridge, Suffolk, IP12 3RH courtesy of Tompsett Growers.
Entry is free of charge and light refreshments will be provided. This event is registered for BASIS and NRoSO points. The varieties were drilled by Shaun Coleman of NIAB on 28th April 2017.
53 carrot varieties, from 7 seed companies, will be displayed and there is a mixture of types and plant densities.
Syngenta will be demonstrating their products.
There will be machinery on display as well as trade stands in the marquee, where you can discuss your requirements with company representatives.
Varieties will be submitted by the seed companies for delegates to score for a ‘best in show’.
Trade companies are invited to submit their most innovative product or service, and members of the BCGA Research and Development Committee will decide a winner.
