Italy: Black Magic grapes available two weeks early

The harvesting of Black Magic grapes at Sant'Ambrogio (Bari) started early on 7th June 2017.

Owner Francesco Ciavarella is rather pleased: "quality is excellent compared to last year and the fruit is two weeks early compared to 2016."

Brix levels are 16° and grades exceed 22 mm.

Black Magic is available with Premium Quality, extra and Carrybag packaging:

Wood: 30x50 with kg. 7
Wood: 30x40 with kg. 5
Cardboard: 30x40 with kg. 5
Carboard with 2 or 3 net kg.

Victoria grapes will be available from June 20th onward. The early produce should continue until early September for the Vittoria variety.

"All other seeded varieties will follow: Palieri, Italia, Red Globe, Black Pearl. The seedless varieties available will be: White Seedless, Black Seedless and Red Seedless".

The main destination markets are: 70% abroad (Germany, Poland and central Europe) and 30% Italy. The produce is sold directly and through wholesalers and retailers.
