Veggie noodle company receives Non-GMO project verification
Veggie Noodle Co., the Austin, Texas-based food brand twisting up the produce department, has announced the company has earned Non-GMO Project Verification for its entire line of certified organic spiralized vegetables.
In addition to being USDA certified organic and Non-GMO Project Verified, Veggie Noodle Co.’s full line of healthy, ready-to-eat alternative to grain-based noodles – the first pre-packaged USDA organic spiralized vegetables – has received gluten-free certification from the Gluten-Free Certification Organization, a leader in the verification of quality, integrity, and purity of gluten-free products.
Recently named one of the biggest food trends of 2017 by Whole Foods Marketâ, the company’s Zucchini, Butternut, Sweet Potato and Beet Spirals are also dairy-free, vegan, paleo and low calorie, with zero preservatives, added sugars or salts.
"We created Veggie Noodle Co. to offer a fresh and healthy alternative to pasta so that consumers could feel good about feeding their families – whether a specific dietary restriction, allergy or personal preference,” said Mason Arnold, Founder and resident Veggie Nerd at Veggie Noodle Co. “We’re thrilled to achieve Non-GMO Project Verification, the most trusted independent verification for non-GMO products in North America, and are dedicated to providing families with high-quality, responsible foods that meet the most stringent of standards."
