A calcium and anti-pest sunscreen

Crops also need sunscreen

Summer crops are highly exposed to high temperatures and high solar radiation. This is affecting production more and more due to climate change.

That's why Codiagro has developed Agrowhite®, a concentrated liquid suspension that is applied in the field to avoid stains caused by sunburn. This product belongs to Codiagro's line of anti-stress products, which also includes Codiorgan-GLB and the new HidroStress-40, and Run-Stress.

What is Agrowhite®?
It is a concentrated suspension rich in calcium and magnesium, for foliar use. It has:
Calcium (CaO) ......................................... 33.5% (W / W)
Magnesium (MgO) ..................................0.30% w/w

What is Agrowhite® for?
It is a crop PHYTOPROTECTOR that prevents physiopathies, such as burns due to high temperatures (sunstroke), and pest attacks, Mediterranean fly (Ceratitis capitata), Mosca del Olivo (Dacus oleae) And Green Citrus Mosquito (Empoasca Sp.)

How does Agrowhite® work?
The product leaves a whitish film on the surface of the treated plant or fruit, that hinders the passage of harmful solar radiation. It also has a repellent effect against pests.

How is Agrowhite® applied?
It is applied like any foliar flow product and had no special indications of use.

The usual dose is 12-15 kg per hectare and treatment, every 15 days.

It is advisable to use non-ionic mist to perfectly distribute the dose over the crops entire surface, which must be perfectly covered.

When and where to use Agrowhite®?
The product should be applied on a preventive basis when climatic circumstances are favorable to dehydration or when the first specimens of the aforementioned pests are found in the crops. It is especially indicated for citrus, fruit, olive, persimmon and vegetable crops. In persimmon, to avoid to ironing, producers should apply 2 treatments, in late June and in late July.

Why use Agrowhite®?
It doesn't contain Caolin (aluminum silicate). It only contains calcium, it does not contain other harmful salts like carbonates, nitrates, or chlorides.

The advantages of Agrowhite® compared to other liquid formulations of similar action:

It is respectful with the useful wildlife, it does not promote the development of mites.

It is not abrasive to the epidermis of the fruit, it does not produce micro-injuries by friction that facilitate later infections by fungi. In turn, it has a potent fungiesthetic effect against pests caused by fungi.

It is safe and harmless to the person applying it, as it is not classified as Harmful.

Calcium prolongs the post-harvest life of the crops as it stabilizes the skin of the fruit and prevents if from cracking. Its light whitening is enough to exert its protective action and doesn't decrease the plant's photosynthetic rate or the fruit's final Brix levels.

It is easy to handle and disperses immediately in the tanks, thanks to Codiagro's special flow technology.

It does not need phytosanitary registration and leaves absolutely no residues.

This product is distributed in more than 25 countries under this brand. In Chile it is marketed as WallSun® while in Morocco it is marketed under the brand BlanCal®
