In October 2016, BARGOSA and ALBIACH FRUITS made the decision to partner, with the objective of creating a business structure designed to lead the wholesale sector across the Spanish Levante. The first step in this direction was the refurbishment, expansion and modernization of the facilities that Albiach Fruit has in the renowned Mercovasa market (El Puig, Valencia).
After months of work and with an investment that exceeds 1 M€, the new facilities were officially inaugurated on 22 May. Bargosa and Frutas Albiach wanted to celebrate this milestone with all their customers, on a date that framed the beginning of a successful relationship based on an impeccable wholesale service. From that day, Bargosa Frutas Albiach and its suppliers will organise a series of Promotion Days to encourage visitors to become familiar with the new facilities.
Since 1954, Bargosa, with 180M€ in annual turnover, 7 locations across the Iberian Peninsula, a melon/watermelon packaging centre and stalls in wholesale markets, has managed to stand out as a leading provider of services to large distributors, local supermarkets and wholesalers, thanks to the relationships of trust built over many years with its suppliers. For its part, Frutas Albiach has more than 30 years of experience in the sector, as well as a perfect knowledge of the local environment. The union of both companies has resulted in a company focused on creating the right conditions for the growth and benefit of its wholesale and retail customers.
In stalls 85 to 87 at Mercovasa, Bargosa Frutas Albiach will feature the company's flagship products, including the brand Solen GOLD, Gabaceras, Del Monte, Super Sweet and Primaflor.
