Qingdao Cooguo does not only hand out samples and gifts of citrus fruits, but also supplies fresh fruit juice on the spot. They aim to introduce more ways to use citrus to the end consumers. "In the wake of the rising living standards of Chinese consumers, the ways in which citrus fruits can be used have become more diverse. The more traditional way is eating the fruit after peeling the skin, but more and more consumers choose to add fresh fruit juice to their breakfast in order to replenish all vitamins they need for the day," explains mister Liu, general manager of Qingdao Cooguo.
"Cypriot fruits have a very full taste, their sweetness carries a little bit of sourness, have both vitamin A and C and contain an abundance of carotene.
Besides giving away samples and gifts during the event, Cooguo also organized a market survey with the end consumers. They asked Chinese consumers questions about the taste, packaging and consumption trends of Cypriot citrus fruits. "After the event, we will thoroughly analyze the results of the survey. Based on the wishes of the consumers, we will adapt our supply for the following years in terms of varieties and amounts, so we can satisfy our Chinese consumers even more."
