New Foam Clean 317-SP removes oxalate films residual from spinach and kale

Madison Chemical introduces a Foam Clean 317-SP for the fast and efficient removal of oxalate films residual from the washing and preparation of spinach and kale. This alkaline, one-step foaming product reaches any area. Its thick foam clings to surfaces, providing sufficient dwell time while the low surface tension and proprietary blend penetrate and remove the film.

“With no acids, this unique product is safer for employees and easier to use than conventional (acid-based) cleaners,” says Ken Dreyer with Madion Chemical. Foam Clean 317-SP is a finalist for the United Fresh Innovative Awards for 2017. “It is ideal for all equipment used for handling spinach and kale and other materials where residual oxalate films remain after handling, including conveyors, washers, dryers, cooking vessels, sorters, and more,” added Dreyer.

Madison Chemical is a chemical formulator which provides cleaning, sanitation, maintenance and surface preparation products for different industries, including food processing.
