China: First 20 tons of Hainan lychees exported to the US

Recently, the first batch of lychees from Hainan with the total weight of 20 tons and a worth of $78,000 have been packed and shipped to the US after passing the inspection from Sanya Inspection and Quarantine Bureau. The area around Lingshui is the major cultivation region of lychees in Hainan Province. The lychees from here ripen earlier and taste better than other varieties, and thus have a great competitive advantage in the market.
