A few days ago, the head office of the National Inspectorate issued their 28th announcement of 2017. They officially declared that Italian citrus has gained admittance by meeting all the qualifications laid out by the office. This announcement also touched on the "Protocol about requirements for Italian fresh citrus, distribution and cultivation" that lists, in detailed fashion, all requirements for imported Italian citrus. All relevant Italian orchards, packaging facilities, storehouses and cold treatment facilities that have registered at the head office can now be imported.
