The Sinclair® Compact Pattern Labeller (CPL) has been awarded a silver medal as part of the 2017 Macfrut Innovation Awards in the category of packaging and packaging materials. Sponsored by Cesena Fiera and The Agrarian Informer, the Macfrut Innovation Award program celebrates product innovation and quality as well as environmental and economic sustainability in agriculture.
Featuring new controls and automated lift arms, the new Compact Pattern Labeller is Sinclair’s latest machine innovation. The touchpad interface and remote access provides greater efficiency with increased automation. The CPL’s flexible pattern programming also makes labelling fruit in tray patterns significantly easier and more exact.
The Macfrut Innovation Awards were presented in eight different categories including Seeds and Cultivars for Fresh and Processed Fruit and Vegetables; Phytosanitary Products and Fertilizers; Machines and Equipment for the Cultivation of Fruit and Vegetable Products; Facilities and Equipment for Protected Crops; Machines and Technology for Sorting and Packaging; Packaging and Packaging materials; Logistics and Services; Fresh-cut and Ready-to-eat Produce and Services.
