Semillero Los Crespos begins the campaign

Spain: 20 million pepper plants to meet demand

Los Crespos is starting its pepper campaign and, like every year around these dates, the Crespo brothers and their team devote most of their facilities to the production of Lamuyo, Italian, and California pepper, as well as more than twenty other varieties.

The production of this highly demanded product is expected to increase to around 20 million plants, as the company has expanded its facilities after a great 2016-17 campaign.

The Crespo brothers have renewed the thermal screen of the 20,000-meter area, dedicated to production, providing their facilities with the highest technology to provide their customers the highest quality plants in the market.

The company supplies the demand for pepper in western Almeria, mainly in Adra, Berja, El Ejido, and San Agustin. The company also produces different products, like zucchini, eggplant, cucumber, tomato and watermelon, although to a lesser extent.
